Cloud Engineer

RAPP Mauritius is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team. The company values individuality and strives to create solutions that adapt to each individual's needs. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for driving efficiency into the SDLC process and infrastructure management, as well as automating and improving existing systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building, operating, and maintaining Linux/Windows infrastructure, with a high degree of automation. Required skills include experience with orchestration engines, MySQL system administration, Jenkins Job Builder/Code As Pipeline, and build tools like Maven & Gradle.

• Extensive experience of building, operating and maintaining Linux/Windows infrastructure, with a high-degree of automation
• Linux Experience (3+ years Required)
• Continuous Integration tools, e.g. Jenkins (1-2 years Required)
• Puppet/Ansible or other configuration management (1++ years Required)
• Public/Private Cloud based Infrastructure (AWS is enough for public cloud)
• Apache WWW and/or NGINX server and Tomcat
• Common Internet Protocols (SMTP, HTTP / HTTPS, SSH, SMTP)
• Source Control systems (Git)
• Unix shell scripting (Bash)
• Containerisation, e.g. Docker
• Orchestration engines e.g. Kubernetes
• Jenkins Job Builder / Code As Pipeline
• Build tools like Maven & Gradle
