About The Position
Thriveworks is hiring a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) living in Alabama to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Tuscaloosa. The clinician provides compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care to a range of clients, potentially including couples and children, and works toward measurable client progress. The role requires availability for at least 25 sessions and 30 hours weekly. Clinicians use modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools, and participate in a supportive clinical community. Thriveworks handles credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support, and provides paid orientation and training. The company states that clinicians will build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing. Flexible scheduling is available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET. Compensation is up to $100,300, based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. The position is a W-2 employee role; full-time clinicians are eligible for employer-sponsored benefits.
Requirements
- Hold independent clinical social work licensure as an LICSW in Alabama.
- Live in Alabama.
- Be consistently available for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly.
- Be open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children.
- Be invested in helping clients achieve measurable progress.
- Be confident working with telehealth and EHR tools.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
