About The Position

Thriveworks is hiring independently licensed clinical social workers living in Alabama to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care through a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Birmingham. The role serves a variety of clients, including couples and children, and emphasizes helping clients achieve measurable progress. Clinicians must be available for at least 25 sessions and 30 hours each week. Thriveworks provides administrative support for credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing, along with paid orientation and training. The company states clinicians can build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing. Flexible scheduling is available seven days a week between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET. Compensation is up to $100,300, based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. This is a W-2 employee position.

Requirements

Hold an independent clinical social work license (LICSW) and live in Alabama.
Be consistently available for at least 25 sessions and 30 hours per week.
Be open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children.
Be invested in helping clients achieve measurable progress.
Be confident using clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools.
Contribute positively as a teammate.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
