About The Position

The Clinical Social Worker works collaboratively with members of an interdisciplinary team to assist patients and families with complex psychosocial needs. Interventions may include alternate site coordination, discharge planning, addressing identified abuse or neglect, adoption, substance use disorders, end-of-life decisions, referral resources, bereavement support, adjustment counseling, guardianships, and behavioral health concerns, including psychiatric transfers.

This is a part-time position at the Care Center in Westland, with 20 weekly scheduled hours. The shift is day shift; hours and days worked are variable.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work required.
• Fully licensed Master Social Worker (MSW-Master) in the State of Michigan upon hire required.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assist patients and families with complex psychosocial needs.
