About The Position

Intuitive is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care, developing technologies such as the da Vinci surgical system and Ion. The Clinical Sales Representative (CSR) clinically sells to maximize utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System in the Danville, Pennsylvania area. Candidates must live within or be willing to relocate to the area. The role works with surgeons and surgical teams to support system adoption, training, and use, while driving sales of instruments and accessories. The position may be filled at a different job level based on business need and the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Compensation is market-competitive and includes base pay, commission, benefits, and equity; on-target earnings are referenced but no amount is provided.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of sales experience, including 2 or more years in healthcare sales.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Clinical Sales Manager to develop a sales strategy that drives robot utilization.
• Mentor surgical teams through training sessions, operating room integration, and da Vinci Surgery applications.
• Serve as a da Vinci Surgery resource across primary surgical specialties.
• Support regional Sales and Marketing events that build system awareness and procedure adoption.
• Develop a da Vinci Surgery plan for each surgical team so they can use the system unsupervised.
• Expand the user base by working with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Drive sales of instruments and accessories.
• Mentor new team members to help them become high-performing members of the clinical sales team.
• Manage administrative tasks and sales activities responsibly, including submitting expense reports.
