About The Position

The Medical Group Clinical Outcomes Coordinator supports the operational coordination, performance visibility, and integration of clinical performance initiatives across Catawba Valley Medical Group’s primary care and specialty practices. The position establishes a consistent Medical Group operating framework for identifying, monitoring, communicating, and improving performance in partnership with physicians, practice leadership, service-line leaders, and organizational support departments. This role does not duplicate the responsibilities of Quality, Population Health, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Managed Care, Compliance, or other centralized support functions. Rather, the position serves as the operational connection between these resources and the Medical Group, helping translate organizational priorities, quality measures, registry requirements, and performance data into actionable initiatives at the physician, practice, and service-line levels. The Specialist works closely with physician and administrative leadership to ensure performance information is visible, understood, and incorporated into Medical Group operations. The position supports performance dashboards, specialty registries, primary care measures, improvement initiatives, and physician engagement while promoting consistency and accountability across CVMG.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Nursing, Healthcare Quality, or related field preferred).
• Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
• Experience within a multispecialty Medical Group or ambulatory physician enterprise.
• Experience with specialty registries, value-based care, MIPS, ACO performance, or payer performance programs.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary performance-improvement initiatives.

• Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related field.)

• Serves as the operational connection between centralized support functions (Quality, Population Health, Data Analytics, IT, Managed Care, Compliance) and the Medical Group.
• Translates organizational priorities, quality measures, registry requirements, and performance data into actionable initiatives at the physician, practice, and service-line levels.
• Works closely with physician and administrative leadership to ensure performance information is visible, understood, and incorporated into Medical Group operations.
• Supports performance dashboards, specialty registries, primary care measures, improvement initiatives, and physician engagement.
• Promotes consistency and accountability across CVMG.
