About The Position

Texas NeuroRehab Center is hiring a Clinical Liaison to support community relations throughout Central Texas. This role involves marketing for the 39-bed LTAC/IPR, 24 Bed IRF, and 22 Bed Post-Acute Brain Injury Program at Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX. Texas NeuroRehab Center is a specialized treatment facility with a long history of serving the Austin community, providing complex medical and brain injury rehabilitation for individuals aged 13 and older, as well as neurobehavioral residential treatment services for children and adolescents. The Clinical Liaison will establish strong community relations with entities such as State Medicaid, local health and human services, State agencies, local hospitals (behavioral and medical), and local practitioners. The role requires working with internal interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth transitions for community re-integration post-treatment and involves performing onsite patient evaluations and gathering clinical information for clinical determinations.

Requirements

  • Clinical background required (RN, PT, OT, SLP).
  • Minimum of three to five years’ experience as a healthcare marketing representative, preferably for a Post-Acute Brain Injury Program or Acute Rehab Facility in the Austin Area.
  • Able to perform clinical evaluations as requested by the Admissions Department.

Nice To Haves

  • CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) a plus.
  • Experience in brain injury and stroke rehabilitation a plus.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong community relations in Central Texas, including State Medicaid, and local health and human services municipalities.
  • Work with internal interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth transitions for community re-integration, post treatment.
  • Show proficiency in articulating facility services to potential referral sources, including State agencies, local hospitals (both behavioral and medical), and local practitioners.
  • Perform onsite patient evaluations when needed.
  • Assist in gathering clinical information, both written and observed, for clinical determinations.
