About The Position

Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations. Responsibilities include leading or coordinating shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. Serving as a technical or functional resource and performing similar duties with staff. Assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress of work. Monitoring and reporting compliance with policies and/or procedures. Overseeing and evaluating orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Inventorying clinical supplies and placing supply orders to maintain desired levels. Receiving and organizing the handling of medication samples.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years CMA experience in a clinic.
