Clinical Lab Assistant PRN 1st Shift
About The Position
Texas Health is hiring a PRN Clinical Lab Assistant for its Fort Worth location. The role primarily supports early-morning collections, with hours usually from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM and occasional shifts from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. The department describes itself as teamwork-oriented, friendly, welcoming, and committed to a culture of excellence. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one-semester course in phlebotomy.
- PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician certification, preferred upon hire.
