About The Position

The Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and optimizing patient movement throughout the hospital to support timely access to care, efficient use of hospital resources, and safe patient placement. The coordinator works collaboratively with patient care areas to manage patient progression and reduce delays.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
Nursing degree and demonstrated proficiency with patient flow and bed control activities.
Ability to manage changing work environments and patient needs.
Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills for interacting with management and coworkers.
Ability to manage stressful situations and changing work environments related to patient and department needs.
Demonstrated competence, clinical expertise, and sound professional judgment.
Effective analytical and critical-thinking skills to problem-solve and respond quickly to departmental needs.
Proficiency using relevant technologies to manage patient throughput.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in bed control or patient flow.
