About The Position

The Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and optimizing patient movement throughout the hospital to ensure timely patient access to care, efficient utilization of hospital resources, and safe patient placement. The coordinator works collaboratively with all patient care areas to manage patient progression and reduce delays. The role is located at The Valley Hospital in Paramus and is a part-time evening position.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
Demonstrated proficiency working with patient flow or bed control activities.
Ability to manage a changing work environment in response to patient and department needs.
Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills for interacting with management and coworkers.
Ability to manage stressful situations and changing work conditions.
Demonstrated competence, clinical expertise, and sound professional judgment.
Effective analytical and critical-thinking skills to solve problems and respond quickly to departmental needs.
Proficiency using relevant technologies to manage patient throughput.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in bed control or patient flow.
