Clinical Assistant II (Medical Assistant II)
About The Position
The Clinical Assistant II performs clinical duties and administrative tasks in medical offices under the direction of Redeemer Health Physician and Ambulatory Services clinicians and manager. The role is responsible for creating an exceptional experience during each patient encounter by providing a warm welcome and fond farewell, delivering competent and compassionate clinical care appropriate to the specialty, and communicating and interacting effectively with other members of the care team. The position requires an ongoing commitment to Redeemer Health's Mission and Values, consistently demonstrated in interactions with colleagues and in the services provided.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited college or technical school in Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Home Health Aide, or other Allied Health training; or have equivalent medical office or clinical experience and/or education, such as being a nursing or medical student.
- Excel in delivering a positive patient experience.
- Have critical-thinking skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have at least three years of regular part-time or full-time work experience in a physician office setting.
