About The Position

The Clinical Applications Analyst I is an entry-level position in the Application Analyst family at Stanford Health Care. Under the general guidance of senior team members, the analyst implements, administers, and supports assigned systems while building foundational knowledge of Epic modules, ancillary systems, and health system operations. This is a developmental role: over approximately 2–3 years, the employee is expected to progress from closely guided foundational work to independently competent support and basic build activities, developing the technical and workflow knowledge needed to be ready for promotion to Application Analyst II. The position provides tier-2 application support, monitors applications in production, troubleshoots and maintains systems during the assigned shift, and takes ownership of lower-complexity issues. The analyst assists with implementations, upgrades, workflow enhancements, testing, documentation, and routine system changes under established procedures and senior-team direction. The role also includes coordination with other technology teams, participation in meetings, structured onboarding and application training, and the gradual development of analytical and AI literacy skills.
