About The Position

Lead the flow of care and make every moment count as a Clinic Supervisor. In this role, you’ll drive smooth, efficient daily operations by organizing participant flow, prioritizing needs, and guiding nursing and support staff through effective delegation based on training and participant acuity. Working closely with providers and the interdisciplinary team, you’ll foster strong collaboration, maintain an organized clinical environment, and ensure high-quality care. Your leadership will be essential in coordinating care, optimizing workflow, and improving outcomes for every participant we serve.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail elderly, or long-term care population.
  • At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be technologically adept and proficient in electronic medical records.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficient and complete care is delivered to participants.
  • Problem solves effectively, addressing challenges and obstacles that may occur throughout the day.
  • Provides cross-site administrative and leadership support to clinic staff as needed.
  • Supervises clinic staff members including but not exclusive to Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Completes hiring, training, discipline, performance and competency reviews.
  • Coordinates and supervises nursing care for participants in the PACE clinic according to program standards.
  • Ensures all clinic staff have adequate supplies and equipment to perform their duties in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team and coordinates effectively with other supervisors and managers to support and execute participant care.
  • Oversees and participates in the development and implementation of plans of care with participants, family, and caregivers in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Participates in site-specific and cross-site leadership meetings and initiatives.
  • Consults with appropriate leaders about high-risk clinical situations and organizational development issues.
