About The Position

The Clinic Registration Rep provides customer service to patients and visitors at Olympic Medical Center clinics in Sequim and Port Angeles, using OMC’s C.A.R.E. standards. The role greets patients and visitors with compassion and empathy, collects and accurately enters patient demographic information into the electronic health record, and explains registration-related OMC/OMP policies and procedures as needed. It also collects copayments and other payments in accordance with OMC finance policies, maintains a smooth registration flow, and keeps patients in waiting areas informed of delays. The representative works collaboratively with Central Access and Clinic Back Office staff to support a positive patient experience.

This is a 100% FTE, day-shift position. The listed pay range is $21.68–$32.01 per hour. The position is represented by SEIU 1199-Service and Dietary. Weekend and holiday shifts are not required. Benefits are referenced in the posting, but specific benefits are not listed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
