About The Position
AO Globe Life is expanding its remote team in Atlanta and seeking Benefits Representatives to help working families understand and access insurance protection. The role involves working with warm leads, conducting virtual client appointments, explaining benefit options, and supporting clients during insurance decisions. This is a 100% remote, independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven, not hourly or salaried. No prior insurance experience is required; training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities and cover any applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at their own expense. Specific licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state and are reviewed during hiring and onboarding.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Excellent communication and active-listening skills.
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Positive, self-driven attitude.
- Comfortable learning new technology.
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities
- Connect with individuals, families, union members, and association members.
- Schedule and conduct virtual client appointments.
- Review insurance needs and clearly explain benefit options.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their questions are answered.
- Build trust through professional, timely communication.
- Participate in team training and coaching sessions.
- Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings.
