About The Position

The Client Service Specialist (CSS) is the clinic’s primary point of contact for client interactions, whether by phone or in person. The role is responsible for creating a pleasant client experience and building relationships that encourage client loyalty. The CSS coordinates appointment check-ins and bookings, communicates appointment and care information, and helps maintain an efficient daily workflow. The position is based at CityVet’s Chandler clinic.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment check-ins and book new appointments.
• Partner with the team to provide appropriate discharge information for grooming, clinic, walk-in, technician, boarding, and retail appointments.
• Understand, communicate, and appropriately prioritize scheduled appointments, client education, and lobby triage based on vaccine, wellness, parasite, and retail needs to support an efficient daily workflow.
• Greet clients entering the clinic, open the door, check patients in, notify clients of appointment delays, care for clients while they wait, and alert staff when clients arrive.
• Create a pleasant client experience and build relationships with clients.
