About The Position

River Run Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join its fast-paced, multi-doctor veterinary clinic, which provides a wide range of services in a high-volume general practice and urgent care setting. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, reliable, and comfortable communicating with clients, technicians, doctors, and other staff. The role serves as the face of the clinic and calls for a passion for animals and for strengthening the bond between families and their pets.

The typical work week consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, combined with rotating weekend shifts. Saturday and Sunday shifts are 8 hours. Clinic hours are 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Candidates must be available to work weekends and shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to provide appropriate coverage.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Professional phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak clearly and professionally.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Team-oriented approach and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work weekends and shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• Veterinary experience, preferably 1–2 years in a similar position.
• Extensive customer service experience; the employer is willing to train a suitable candidate.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of calls with courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients and provide a positive, professional experience in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments, process payments, and accurately enter data into practice management software.
• Relay messages clearly, accurately, and promptly to doctors and staff.
• Remain professional and composed while addressing high client and doctor expectations.
• Perform computer-based tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
