About The Position

Amegy Bank is seeking a customer-focused Client Service Associate (Teller) for its Greenspoint South branch in Houston, Texas. This front-line role serves as a representative of the bank, providing exceptional customer service, building client relationships, and assisting customers with everyday banking needs. The position is suited to a service-driven, detail-oriented professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to positive customer experiences.

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, with a schedule covering weekday afternoons and Saturdays. A flexible schedule within the listed hours is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in customer service, banking, cash handling, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and cash handling systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within the listed hours.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately within authorized limits while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and following cash controls.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Perform banking activities such as account maintenance, issuing counter checks, processing transfers, and accepting loan payments.
• Proactively cross-sell bank products that align with client needs to deepen relationships.
• Comply with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve customer issues promptly or escalate them to appropriate resources.
• Safeguard client information and follow security and confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• Support branch operations and complete additional duties as assigned.
