About The Position

Vectra Bank is hiring a part-time Client Service Associate (Teller) at its Grand Junction Patterson branch. The role provides customer service to clients and customers and supports their financial goals. Candidates should be available Monday through Friday. The position processes banking transactions, assists clients with a range of account and payment services, resolves problems, and identifies relevant opportunities to introduce bank products. The stated hourly base salary range is $20.00–$22.50, depending on job-related factors such as experience and location.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
Solid balancing and customer service skills.
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
Resolve clients’ problems through direct personal action or by referring them to other branch or bank resources.
Identify and maximize opportunities to cross-sell bank products by exploring clients’ needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
