About The Position
A Journeyman Electric Meterman tests, programs, installs, and verifies electric metering while following proven safe work procedures. The successful candidate works well with other operations groups and has good customer relation skills. The role is with Xcel Energy in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an apprentice program and meterman journeyman certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pass written and practical pre-hire assessment.
Responsibilities
- Test, program, install, and verify electric metering.
- Follow proven safe work procedures.
- Work with other operations groups.
- Provide good customer relations.
