About The Position
Vectra Bank is hiring a Client Service Associate (Teller) for its Pueblo Downtown branch in Pueblo, Colorado. The role provides customer service to clients and customers, accurately processes debit and credit transactions in accordance with policies and procedures, and maintains an acceptable balancing record. The associate helps clients with a range of banking services, resolves problems directly or by referring clients to appropriate branch or bank resources, and identifies opportunities to recommend relevant bank products based on clients’ needs. The position is listed as 40 hours. It offers an hourly base salary of $20.00–$22.50, depending on job-related factors such as experience and location. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
- Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
- Solid balancing and customer service skills.
- Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
- Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, making money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
- Resolve client problems through direct action or referral to other branch or bank resources.
- Identify and maximize cross-selling opportunities by exploring clients’ needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
