About The Position

Zions Bank is hiring a Teller in Ogden. The role provides an opportunity to work with community members to support their financial goals, learn banking operations and procedures, and help clients find products and services suited to their needs. The teller accurately processes debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. The position offers a minimum pay of $17 per hour and a 40-hour weekly schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address client needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, transferring money, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve client problems through direct action or by referring them to other branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-selling opportunities by exploring clients' needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
