The Client Executive (identified in the posting as a Business Development Manager) secures contracts with owners, developers, and builders in multiple dwelling unit (MDU) and multi-tenant (MTU) communities. The role supports Verizon’s expansion of its Home Internet services by obtaining Broadband Access Agreements that enable network construction and Marketing Agreements that enable cooperative promotion of Verizon services. These agreements provide network access and marketing opportunities to residential and small-business customers, contributing to revenue growth, customer retention, and competitive positioning. The position develops and manages relationships with multifamily property decision-makers, presents Verizon’s voice, broadband, and mobility services, and negotiates long-term, non-exclusive agreements. It works with local Verizon Engineering and Outside Plant Engineering teams to pursue network construction opportunities and position Verizon’s Enhanced Communities program. The territory covers Chicago, Illinois, and surrounding areas; employees must reside within 50 miles of their assigned territory or module. This is a mobile role, primarily based at customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings. Travel may be up to approximately 75% of the time. Scheduled hours are 40 per week.
