About The Position
UBS is seeking transitioning members of the U.S. Armed Services who have been approved for DOD SkillBridge to participate in a training assignment in the financial services industry. The Client Associate will support a Financial Advisor team in New York City, helping service clients and support the business. During the SkillBridge assignment, participants remain active service members and are not UBS employees.
Requirements
- Must be a transitioning armed services member approved for DOD SkillBridge.
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Ideally 2–3 years of client service experience in the finance sector.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on finance.
Responsibilities
- Keep management systems up to date with client information.
- Educate clients on account services and capabilities.
- Help prepare reports and other materials for client meetings.
- Collect documentation required to open new accounts and process service requests.
- Plan team marketing events and maintain marketing materials.
- Provide the team with a detailed calendar of activities.
