About The Position

UBS is seeking transitioning U.S. Armed Services members approved for the Department of Defense SkillBridge program for a training assignment in the financial services industry. During the SkillBridge assignment, participants remain active service members and are not employees of UBS. The role supports financial advisors serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families in the Manhattan Market. Work includes contributing to client conversations and analysis, developing tailored asset allocation strategies and investment solutions, supporting relationship-building and business-development activities, and helping advisors assess portfolio performance and grow their business.

Requirements

Must be a transitioning U.S. Armed Services member approved for DOD SkillBridge consideration.
Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or ability to obtain them within 90 days.
Methodical and accurate team player with analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Ideally, five or more years of previous work experience in the financial sector.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CPA designation or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist financial advisors in client conversations by providing analytic information and working to understand clients’ goals.
Develop customized asset allocation strategies and investment solutions for clients.
Support client relationship-building and business-development activities.
Perform business analytics as needed to support financial advisors in growing the business.
Analyze and interpret portfolio performance reviews and recommend potential changes to financial advisors.
Help prepare reports and other materials for client meetings.
