Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clerical staff, assign tasks, review work, and conduct evaluations
  • Manage workflows, schedules, correspondence, filings, and meeting preparations
  • Check correspondence and documents for accuracy, consistency, and required formatting
  • Assist the Director and Assistant Director with travel planning, communications, and scheduling
  • Provide onboarding, teach procedures, and support staff development
  • Maintain tracking systems, logs, records, and conference room usage

Benefits

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 4 days per week. You will be required to report in-office on Tuesday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
