Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise call center activities and business processes, coordinate phone coverage and staff scheduling, assign work, and organize and monitor ticketing workflows
  • Review completed work, prepare performance evaluations and detailed productivity reports, and create and provide training
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement clerical processes that use enhancements in electronic systems, including the phone systems, to streamline workflow
  • Work with telecommunications and IT staff to resolve system issues, suggest helpful changes, and keep call center systems up and running
  • Respond tactfully and promptly to public inquiries and determine when calls require escalation or special handling
