Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions
  • Conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports
  • Selected candidate must undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment

Responsibilities

  • Review and apply changes to driver record sanctions based on information received from courts, legal staff, and other sources
  • Enter corrections, recalculations, and other updates that cannot be completed through automated systems
  • Investigate potential errors, confirm correct application of laws, and determine when changes are not appropriate
  • Ensure all updates account for compounding penalties and support accurate future sanctions
  • Prepare notices that explain rescinded suspensions, restored records, or changes in eligibility
  • Retrieve digital images and work with multiple inquiry systems while protecting customer confidentiality
