Requirements

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Graduation from high school
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions
  • Submit criminal history reports
  • Pass a background investigation

Responsibilities

  • Scan documents, modify electronic images, and attach files to correct records
  • Input information into CIS and other automated systems
  • Access automated systems to obtain needed details
  • Prepare letters, forms, reports, and envelopes
  • File documents, organize case records, and purge outdated materials
  • Greet office visitors, record information, and direct them to appropriate staff
  • Review mail, printouts, case messages, and logs and distribute them to correct staff
  • Discuss procedures, concerns, and improvement ideas with supervisor
