Requirements

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; o r An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.
  • You must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, gather information, and distribute the correct applications
  • Check completed applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Copy client information, scan and attach applications, and shred outdated materials
  • Use system tools to file clear, process applications, and route them to energy workers
  • Retrieve messages from the LIHEAP phone system and return calls to clients
  • Perform tasks that support crisis program work, including faxing information to vendors
