Requirements

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a long-term care or large healthcare facility.
  • Previous experience in clerical purchasing.
  • Previous experience performing clerical duties.
  • Previous experience working in SAP or SRM entering shopping carts/requisitions.
  • Previous experience with the purchasing process of goods receipts for credit card orders.
  • Previous experience obtaining required paperwork for contracts from vendors to include credentials, licensing information, and background check verifications.
  • Previous experience researching and contacting vendors for pricing information regarding various goods and services.
  • Previous experience working in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Inform the Personal Care Administrator of resident rule violations and type warning letters as directed.
  • Maintain binders, files, and manuals to support regulatory compliance and surveys.
  • Collect information, forward inquiries, and assist residents with questions and routine needs.
  • Track RASPs and DMEs each month and notify assigned LPNs of upcoming due dates.
  • Complete and process admission documents for new residents.
  • Type and distribute resident communications and provide reimbursement envelopes to the mailroom.
