Cleaning Technician Weekends - Greenville 23962 (Fox Valley Operations Non-Medical)
About The Position
KleenMark is seeking a part-time Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness of a building in Greenville. The role is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for a total of eight hours per week, at $18.50 per hour. Duties and hours may vary depending on the building’s size and the number of teammates working there, and tasks may change during employment. Cleaning work includes servicing restrooms and break rooms or kitchenettes; cleaning floors, furniture, equipment, and other surfaces; and emptying and disposing of trash and recyclables. Additional cleaning tasks may include cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, washing walls and woodwork, and washing windows, door panels, partitions, and sills. A retention bonus of up to $300 is available: $100 after 30 days, $100 after 60 days, and $100 after 90 days.
Requirements
- Comply with required safety policies and procedures, including those for using cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
- Be able to assess the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
- Work extra hours when needed.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform other floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as needed.
- Clean and disinfect break room or kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators; replenish supplies.
- Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, and other surfaces.
- Empty wastebaskets and recycling containers and transport waste to the disposal area.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, including hip or backpack vacuums.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
- Report to work on time, work extra hours when needed, and follow required safety policies and procedures.
- Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough.
