Cleaning Technician - Appleton 23964 (Fox Valley Operations Non-Medical)
About The Position
KleenMark is hiring a Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness of a building in Appleton. Duties and hours may vary depending on building size and the number of teammates. The role is part-time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for a total of 20 hours per week, at $17.50. A retention bonus totaling $300 is available: $100 after 30 days, $100 after 60 days, and $100 after 90 days. The technician performs cleaning duties that may include cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and break rooms, replenishing supplies, caring for floors, dusting, emptying trash and recycling, and cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, walls, woodwork, and windows. Duties may change during employment. The employee is expected to report to work on time, work extra hours when needed, follow safety policies and procedures, provide positive customer service, and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough. Personal protective equipment is provided or required, and safety training and cleaning procedures are in place.

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform other floor care such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing when required.
- Clean and disinfect break-room or kitchenette surfaces and items, including sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators; replenish supplies.
- Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions.
- Empty wastebaskets and recycling and transport waste to the disposal area.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, including a hip or backpack vacuum.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
- Report to work on time and work extra hours when needed.
- Follow required safety policies and procedures, including those for using cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
- Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough.
