About The Position

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility to support a positive member experience. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the gym floor; restocking locker-room paper products; reporting broken amenities or equipment; and promptly turning in lost member property according to the company’s lost-and-found policy. The position requires honesty, a good work ethic, and customer-focused communication and problem-solving.

Recognize and define problems, analyze relevant information, encourage alternative solutions, plan resolutions, and seek assistance when needed.
Demonstrate tact and appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
Stand and walk for at least 75% of the shift; reach and feel with hands, fingers, and arms for at least 75% of the shift; climb, balance, kneel, and crouch for less than 20% of the shift; talk with members or staff for less than 30% of the shift; lift over 100 pounds for less than 20% of the shift; and potentially encounter toxic chemicals for less than 30% of the shift.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
Stock locker rooms with appropriate paper products.
Report broken amenities or equipment, such as toilets, showers, hair dryers, or gym equipment, to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead.
Immediately turn in lost member property to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead under the lost-and-found policy.
