About The Position

The Overnight Custodian is responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to support a positive member experience. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the gym floor; disposing of trash; and replenishing locker room supplies and paper products. The custodian also reports broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager and follows the Lost and Found Policy by promptly turning in members’ lost property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

The position requires overnight work from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Candidates should be punctual, reliable, honest, and able to work independently while demonstrating diplomacy and appropriate behavior and language in all interactions. The role involves frequent standing, walking, and reaching; occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting over 75 pounds; and occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to work overnight hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and work third shift.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
• Honesty and an exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Continual standing and walking during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift over 75 pounds.
• May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.

• Custodial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
• Properly dispose of trash.
• Stock locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
• Follow the Lost and Found Policy and immediately turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
