About The Position

The Cleaner keeps building premises clean and orderly by performing cleaning and facility-maintenance duties. Duties may be performed collectively, or a team member may be assigned only some of the listed duties. The company provides customized cleaning services for health care, commercial office, and industrial markets and uses modern technologies, equipment, cleaners, and management systems. Cleaning experience is a plus but is not required. This role works five days per week, including every other weekend; employees who work the weekend receive two days off during the week.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, cafeterias, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Potentially buff floors in some facilities.
• Clean rugs and mats.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and trash bins.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
