About The Position

The Cleaner keeps building premises clean and orderly by performing cleaning duties individually or as part of a team. The company provides customized commercial cleaning and facility services for health care, commercial office, and industrial markets, using cleaning technologies, equipment, products, and management systems. Duties may include cleaning and polishing fixtures, surfaces, and trim; maintaining cleanliness across building areas; floor care; dusting; washing surfaces and windows; and disposing of waste. Cleaning experience is a plus but is not required. The schedule is five days per week, including every other weekend. Employees working a weekend receive two days off during the week.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, cafeterias, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Potentially buff floors at some facilities.
• Clean rugs and mats.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and trash bins.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
