About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in the Greensburg, Pennsylvania area. Caregivers follow each client’s care plan and help with daily routines while supporting clients’ comfort, independence, privacy, and preferences. The role includes personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminders, reporting changes in clients’ needs, and documenting care through an electronic visit verification system. Onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and support from the office team are provided. Scheduling is flexible and based on caregiver and client availability. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay.

Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving clients’ dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
