About The Position

A Cleaner keeps building premises clean and orderly by carrying out assigned cleaning duties. Duties may be performed collectively or individually, with a team member potentially responsible for only some tasks in a building. The company provides customized cleaning and facility services for healthcare, commercial office, and industrial markets, using current technologies, equipment, cleaning products, and management systems. It emphasizes training and staff development, including promotion from within.

The position is scheduled five days per week, including every other weekend. Employees who work a weekend receive two days off during the week. Cleaning experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, cafeterias, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Potentially buff floors in some facilities.
• Clean rugs and mats.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and trash bins.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
