About The Position

The Cleaner keeps building premises clean and orderly by performing assigned cleaning duties. Duties may be performed collectively or divided among team members, with an individual potentially performing only some duties in a building. The company provides customized cleaning and facility services for healthcare, commercial office, and industrial markets and uses modern technologies, equipment, cleaners, and management systems. The company trains and develops staff and promotes from within. This location operates five days a week, including every other weekend; employees who work a weekend receive two days off during the week.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to perform duties as directed and to required standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must show respect to all team members.

Nice To Haves

• Cleaning experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, cafeterias, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Potentially buff floors at some facilities.
• Clean rugs and mats.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and trash bins.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
