1st Shift Cleaner
About The Position
Allegiance Industries is hiring a 1st Shift General Cleaner at a pharmaceutical plant in Grand Island, New York. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour, paid weekly. The site is not on a bus line, and reliable transportation is required. The cleaner maintains the facility by cleaning floors and other surfaces, handling trash, and servicing restrooms. Duties may also include mixing cleaning agents, moving heavy equipment or furniture, reporting possible repairs, and performing floor-care tasks such as steam-cleaning carpets, applying wax, and buffing. Other duties may be assigned. A $300 signing bonus is offered in three $100 installments after 30, 60, and 90 days of employment. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Supply, clean, and service restrooms.
- Mix cleaning agents according to specifications.
- Move heavy equipment, objects, or furniture.
- Identify and report possible repairs.
- Perform applicable floor work, such as steam-cleaning carpets, applying wax, and buffing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
