About The Position

Drive a bus, minibus, or van to transport residents to and from scheduled group activities and individual resident appointments. Help residents with everyday tasks and errands. The role is described as suitable for a semi-retired individual.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, applicable state Passenger Endorsed Class B driver’s license.
• Have a clean driving record and submit a current copy of the Department of Motor Vehicles Driving Record Report.
• Have a high school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Have First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment to restraining devices to stabilize them during the trip.
• Clean and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Help residents with everyday tasks and errands.
