About The Position

Drive a bus, minibus, or van to transport residents to and from scheduled group activities and individual appointments. The role also involves helping residents with everyday tasks and errands. The stated schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The wage range is $22–$24 per hour.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, applicable state Passenger Endorsed Class B driver’s license.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Submit a current copy of the Department of Motor Vehicles Driving Record Report.
• Have a high school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Hold First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment to restraining devices to stabilize them during trips.
• Clean and service the vehicle, including replenishing fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Help residents with everyday tasks and errands.
