About The Position

Senior Resource Group is hiring a Class B Driver for Maravilla at The Domain. The driver transports residents to and from scheduled group activities and individual appointments using a bus, minibus, or van. The role also involves helping residents with everyday tasks and errands. The posting describes the position as suitable for a semi-retired individual.

The driver assists passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, secures wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment for travel, and cleans and services the vehicle, including replenishing fuel, lubricants, and accessories.

Requirements

• Valid and applicable state Passenger Endorsed Class B driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Submit a current copy of the Department of Motor Vehicles Driving Record Report.
• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive a vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment to restraining devices to stabilize them during the trip.
• Clean and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Transport residents to scheduled group activities and individual appointments.
