About The Position

NIS Express is hiring CDL-A drivers in Midwest City, Oklahoma, for a dedicated retail fleet. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset and average about 1,600 miles and 2 to 3 loads per week, with 2 to 6 stops per load. Freight is delivered primarily to stores in Texas, with some loads to Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Drivers unload freight at each store using rollers. Average weekly pay is $1,860, with top drivers earning up to $2,420. Compensation includes $320 per load, mileage pay on all miles, and a weekly safe and on-time bonus of up to 3%. Additional pay includes $200 per day for layovers and breakdowns and $25 per backhaul pickup. Training includes a paid mentor ride-along for the first 3 loads, lasting about 1 to 1.5 weeks, at $200 per day. Drivers receive their own truck and full pay after training is complete.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL from the state of residence.
Have at least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Have no more than 2 moving violations and no preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
Have no DUI or DWI in the past 5 years; SAP drivers are not eligible.
Pass a DOT physical and hair and urine drug testing.
Live within 75 miles of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

Deliver dedicated retail freight to stores, primarily in Texas, with some routes to Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Unload freight at each store using rollers.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
Communicate with dispatch and store staff about delivery timing.
