About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and professional driver for a company-owned truck position for the Venice, FL Terminal. This is a full-time, company driver position with a weekly gross of approximately $2,000 - $2,500 based on experience. The role involves OTR/Nationwide routes, with drivers typically out for two to sixteen days, or longer if desired. Routes run from the Southeast to the Northwest and vice versa, excluding the Northeastern states. The position offers a per-diem tax benefit and 90% no-touch loads, with additional pay for driver-assist if required.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Current DOT Physical.
• No DOT record/preventable accidents in the past 12 months.
• No major violation in the past 36 months (reckless driving or careless endangerment).
• No more than 3 minor violations during the last 3 years, with no more than 2 violations in the same 12-month span.
• No DUI in the past 60 months (5 years).
• Overall safe driving record.
• Must have a TWIC card or obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• No positive drug/alcohol tests.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience pulling a 53' dry van or refrigerated trailer.
• Must speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned truck for OTR/Nationwide routes.
• Complete routes from SE to NW and NW to SE, avoiding Northeastern states.
• Handle loads, with 90% being no-touch.
• Assist with loads if required and get paid extra.
• Manage paperwork.
• Adhere to Federal and Florida DOT and HOS rules.
