About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and professional driver for a company-owned truck position for the Venice, FL Terminal. This is a full-time, company driver position with a competitive weekly gross of approximately $2,000 - $2,500 based on experience. The role involves nationwide OTR routes, primarily between the Southeast and Northwest regions, with no mandatory vaccines required. Drivers will benefit from a per-diem tax benefit and work with newer equipment.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
Current DOT Physical.
No DOT record/preventable accidents in the past 12 months.
No major violation in the past 36 months (reckless driving or careless endangerment).
No more than 3 minor violations during the last 3 years, with no more than 2 violations in the same 12-month span.
No DUI in the past 60 months (5 years).
Overall safe driving record.
Must have a TWIC card or obtain it within 30 days of employment.
No positive drug/alcohol tests.
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience pulling a 53' dry van or refrigerated trailer.
Must speak English.

Responsibilities

Operate a company-owned truck on nationwide OTR routes.
Transport goods between SE and NW regions, avoiding North East States.
Handle loads, with 90% being no-touch. Driver-assist may be required and will be paid extra.
Manage paperwork and utilize a fuel card and cash advance for OTR expenses.
Adhere to Federal and Florida DOT and HOS rules.
Maintain a safe driving record and a clean DOT inspection record.
