About The Position

Contract Lumber is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local runs from its Statesville, North Carolina location. Drivers are home every night. The role offers Monday–Friday, first-shift work with flexible scheduling, a 40-hour workweek, and the ability to work overtime when needed. Pay is $24–$28 per hour, based on experience. Recent graduates are welcome.

The driver loads, secures, and delivers materials; checks loads for accuracy and safe securement; performs delivery-vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT requirements; maintains required paperwork; and communicates effectively with employees, management, and customers. The role may require learning to operate a Piggyback or Princeton forklift and lifting up to 80 pounds.

Requirements

• Hold a Class A CDL.
