About The Position

Contract Lumber is hiring a CDL-A Truck Driver for local runs in Sanford, North Carolina. Drivers are home every night. Recent graduates are welcome. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday on a flexible first shift, for 40 hours per week, with overtime possible when needed. Pay is $22–$26 per hour, based on experience.

The driver loads, secures, and delivers material; inspects delivery vehicles according to DOT requirements; maintains required paperwork; and checks loads for accuracy and safe securement before leaving the yard or a job site. The role also involves communicating clearly with employees, management, and customers. Requirements

• Hold a CDL Class A license.
• Have a driving record that meets current DOT regulations.
• Be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Have a great attitude and be a team player.
• Be hardworking, responsible, and motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Recent graduates are welcome.
• Ability to learn to operate a Piggyback or Princeton forklift.
